AUSTIN, TEXAS (March 31, 2008) – Texas-based law firm McGinnis, Lochridge & Kilgore L.L.P. today announced that preeminent litigator Larry F. York has joined the firm in its Austin headquarters. Mr. York assumes the title Of Counsel.
A trial lawyer for 44 years, York joins McGinnis, Lochridge & Kilgore’s commercial litigation practice where he will continue his work on a variety of client matters involving commercial litigation, administrative and legislative law, election law, open records and open meeting litigation, the Deceptive Trade Practices Act, and the Insurance Code. In addition to his client responsibilities, York will be instrumental in mentoring the firm’s young lawyers in practice areas including oil and gas, antitrust, toxic tort, insurance and others. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas School of Law, in both Advanced Civil Litigation and the Texas Actual Innocence Clinic.
