There are two key reasons why McGinnis Lochridge attorneys are trusted by our clients and respected by other attorneys — their professional integrity and legal acumen. This starts at the associate level.

We have a longstanding and unwavering commitment to hiring recent law school graduates who have excelled at top law schools and shown the character we’re looking for in our future partners. Many of our attorneys have served in prestigious judicial clerkships before joining our firm.

Why would a recent law school graduate consider McGinnis Lochridge? Here, you can chart your own course, supported by decades of experience. We actively foster a collegial and friendly atmosphere and an informal workplace environment, while upholding the highest standards. The firm maintains a low associate-to-partner ratio and a philosophy of not overstaffing representations. This allows attorneys to tackle challenging opportunities and work directly with clients and more experienced attorneys, early in their career.

We also pay attention to how our associates are learning and developing their skills, encouraging each to accept more complex work and responsibility as they’re ready.

At McGinnis Lochridge, we work to maintain a balanced culture, believing that outside interests and strong community bonds make better lawyers. We consciously make an effort to be in tune with our professionals, recognizing that different people are at different points in their lives, and that each have unique goals. We have reasonable expectations in terms of billable hours and strive to give each individual the flexibility to find their own equilibrium.
