AUSTIN, TEXAS (December 10, 2012) – McGinnis, Lochridge & Kilgore, L.L.P. is pleased to announce the addition of Leslie K. O'Neal as of counsel in its Austin office. Leslie was previously the Senior Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Temple-Inland Inc., a NYSE-listed pubic company, until its acquisition by International Paper Company in 2012.
During her 32 year tenure at Temple-Inland, Ms. O'Neal served as chief compensation and benefits officer, developed and executed strategy for executive compensation, director compensation, and enterprise-wide employee benefit programs. Leslie also served as Secretary and senior advisor to the Board on securities, NYSE, and public company governance matters, and played a key role in numerous corporate transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, consolidations, and spin-offs.
Leslie earned her Bachelor of Arts at West Texas State University and her law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law.
