McLean Bell

McLean is a member of the firm’s General Litigation practice group. McLean practices in a wide variety of industries and has experience representing both individuals and entities. His matters span from complex business arbitration to oil and gas royalty underpayment. With a business litigation distinction from Baylor law, McLean is equipped to handle business litigation in a variety of disputes.  

McLean’s command of the court room landed him on numerous Mock Trial and Moot Court teams at Baylor Law, where he earned his JD and graduated cum laude. During Law School, McLean was a Summer Associate for McGinnis Lochridge, where he excelled in drafting litigation documents, including Special Exceptions, and demand letters, cease and desist letters, and settlement offers. Earlier, during his internship with the Comal County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, McLean observed court proceedings, trials, and plea negotiations, analyzed and evaluated cases for legal sufficiency, drafted arguments for suppression and evidence hearings, authored outlines of Texas case law, and participated in voir dire numerous times.

• Represented chemical manufacture in collecting unpaid accounts receivables.
• Represented numerous commercial and residential landlords in eviction and breach of contract matters.
• Represented various entities in Texas Railroad Commission compliance.
• While interning at Comal County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, participated in voir dire for a capital murder case and numerous DWI cases
